Meet Buffalo Plastic Surgeon, Tamara Dawli, MD
Dr. Tamara Dawli is a New York City, Ivy League-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon who returns to the Western New York area to share her exceptional training and experience. Dr. Dawli completed a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the prestigious and highly selective Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Following her residency training, she practiced at the renowned New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai in Manhattan. While in New York City, Dr. Dawli completed a coveted and competitive fellowship in Aesthetic (Cosmetic) Surgery, which only a small group of plastic surgeons in the world have completed. During her fellowship, she focused exclusively on cosmetic surgical procedures along with non-surgical cosmetic techniques.

Before getting started with scheduling your surgery, it’s important to have a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Dawli. Your consultation can be done online or in-person at your convenience. To help you achieve your cosmetic goals, follow these three easy steps:
Step 1: Initial Consultation
Your consultation is one of the most important steps in the process of getting a plastic surgery procedure done, as this is the way you’ll get all of your questions answered before the big day. If you are able to fly out for your consultation, all the better. If not, Dr. Dawli will accommodate with an online consultation that can be requested over the phone at (716) 821-2935 or via email at info@buffaloplasticsurgery.com. Our cosmetic coordinator will go over all the details of your online consultation with you.
Step 2: Preparation
After you’ve had your consultation and are ready to schedule your surgery, there are many steps that must be taken to ensure you’re ready for your procedure. This includes examinations or bloodwork done by your primary care physician in anticipation of your surgery. Dr. Dawli will also go over detailed pre-operative and post-operative instructions for your procedure. Make sure to follow these strictly to get the best results from your treatment. Please feel free to call at any time with questions or concerns you may be having in regard to your procedure. Dr. Dawli will always have the time to answer your questions and help you feel more at ease with getting a procedure done away from home.
Step 3: Surgery, Recovery, and After-Care
Surgery is usually scheduled 24-48 hours after your arrival in Buffalo. We can, however, book same-day non-invasive treatments for those looking to have a speedy visit. We advise our patients to stay in the Buffalo area for 7-10 days after their surgery to ensure a safe recovery with outcomes that reflect your ultimate cosmetic goals. If you need extra assistance after your surgery, we can arrange for a nurse to help you.
